Work on Valatie intersection begins

Oct 28, 2019 12:09 am
Emilia Teasdale reports for the Columbia Paper that state construction crews have begun work on the intersection of Route 9 and Main Street in Valatie. The 36-mile-long Albany-Hudson Electric Trail crosses Main Street at that intersection. Work on the trail, which mostly follows National Grid right-of-way, won't be completed until the fall of 2020, but state crews should take three weeks with the intersection in the fall, and then finish this spring.
