Andrea Macko reports in Porcupine Soup that Greene County hunters killed 2,318 deer last season, including 1,272 adult bucks. That's slightly less than in 2020, but slightly more than last year or 2019. New York State saw a ten percent increase last year, to 231,961 deer killed during the 2022 hunting seasons. The Youth Hunt Weekend last season saw a 38 percent increase in dead deer.
