New York leads nation in losing population

Chad Arnold reports in the Poughkeepsie Journal that U.S. Census Bureau statistics released Dec. 19 showed New York's population declined more than any other state between July, 2017 and July, 2018. New York led nine states in losing population, with 48,510 people than in the previous year. There were 61,371 more births in the state than deaths, and another 70,375 immigrants, arrived in New York. So 180,306 left the state. Read the full story in the Poughkeepsie Journal.
