The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for tonight and tomorrow for Albany, Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon through Tuesday evening. Heavy rainfall will be possible from tonight into Tuesday. Due to recent rainfall river and stream levels are already running high. This may lead to flooding in some areas.

HUDSON Mayor's Public Hearing at 4 p.m., and informal meeting of the Common Council at 7 p.m., both at City Hall, 520 Warren St., Hudson (828-1030). The public hearing will be held on two laws adopted by the Common Council: (1) amending the City Code to ban oil, gas and solution mining or drilling in the city of Hudson; and (2) amending Chapter 310 of the City Code to provide for the timely payment of water rents in arrears. WGXC Community Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Hudson studio, located at 704 Columbia St., Second Floor, Hudson. The Council serves in a significant advisory capacity to station management. The Council represents and reflects both the diversity of potential listeners served within the WGXC 90.7-FM coverage map, as well as the station’s active constituents. In addition to representation, the Council provides fundraising leadership and support to enable the station sustainability and growth. Members serve on at least one (and no more than two) of the following committees: Fundraising, Outreach, Programming, and Policy and Internal Affairs. The public is invited to observe Council meetings. Every meeting includes a time for public comments at the conclusion of the meeting.
