David Moscovich
David Moscovich writes flash fiction and performs his texts both live and on the radio, fragmenting, ricocheting, and refurnishing language until it meets its own devolution. Moscovich plays with glossolalia and collage to appropriate and remix fiction as performance. His stories and instigations are both online and in print, and have been performed on radio shows including Night of the Living Tongue (Portland, OR), Glossolalia (Los Angeles), De Luna Vox Theatrum (Portland, OR), Sonarchy (Seattle), Triangulation (NYC), among others. In 2011 he was awarded fiscal sponsorship from The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) for Chessstories, an anthology of chess-themed fiction in collaboration with French graphic artist Zeami, slated for release in 2013. In 2011, he won The Broad Set Collective’s award for flash fiction. He lives in New York City.
