Catskill fuel storage facility sells for $1.4 million

Kyle Adams reports in The Daily Mail the 5.3-acre former fuel storage facility on the Historic Catskill Point has been purchased by the Hudson River Development Corp. for $1.4 million. The property was previously owned by Getty Realty Corp. Mike Ferro, owner of Hudson River Development Corp., said he has no immediate plans for the property. Ferro said, “Right at this time, I have no definite plans for anything. I haven’t figured out what I’m going to do.” The parcel contains 4.2 usable acres, with four buildings, five storage tanks and barge access. Ferro said Getty has already conducted an environmental analysis of the property, including monitoring wells, and that it has received a clean bill of health. Read the full story in The Daily Mail.
