WGXC's Noah Reibel is editing down hours of interviews about the Furgary Boat Club, the century-old sportsmen squat on the Hudson River. WGXC will air the Furgary story ahead of the city's proposed July 16 closing of the docks and houses between and the train tracks and the Hudson River. At 5:10, we'll be joined by Common Council President Don Moore for a conversation about today's Special Meeting of the Council at 6:30pm, and its Regular Informal Meeting at 7.
Also, from Prattsville this Saturday, photographer Larry Gambon, along with Janelle Maurer, and Andy Reid speak about their experiences during the flooding caused by Hurricane Irene, and Gambon's "After Irene: An Exhibit of Documentary Photographs", on display at the Pratt Museum through October.
At the end of the show, we'll hear a live set from The Shakedown, performing tonight at Club Helsinki in Hudson. Also, news, other features, weather, local events, and more.
