Andrea Macko reports for Porcupine Soup that the Town of Cairo will hold a public hearing about a proposed snowstorm parking law at 7 p.m. March 7 at town hall. Cairo would copy Catskill's law requiring vehicles to be parked on the even side of the street from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and then moved to the odd side of village streets from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Switching sides of the street continues every 12 hours, until the snow emergency has ended.
