Thomas Kearney, founder and executive director of the non-profit organization Capital Area Relief & Liberation (CARL) and Mikey Lenane from Return Brewing spoke to WOOC's Corinne Carey just before the 2021 holidays about their collaboration on two programs that aim to help people returning to the community from incarceration. In this fascinating interview, Thomas and Mikey talk to Corinne about how CARL works to encourage employers to hire formerly incarcerated individuals, and Return Brewing works to encourage giving discarded produce second chances in brewing processes.
