Knox may compete for green grant

Tim Tulloch reports in The Altamont Enterprise that Knox heard from Robyn Reynolds, senior planner at the Capital District Regional Planning Commission on Aug. 9, about the new Clean Energy Communities program the state announced Aug. 3, and how it could lead to a $100,000 grant for the southern Albany County town. “We will help you,” Reynolds said, “to come up with a project proposal that is good for the town and make sure it suits your needs.” Reynolds is bringing the Solarize Albany program for a presentation in Knox 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at the town hall.
