Grazin' changes cheese choice

Oct 28, 2011 1:25 am
A reader of Carole Osterink's The Gossips of Rivertown blog reported to her that a cheese at Hudson's Grazin', the first Animal Welfare-approved restuarant in the United States, came from the Finger Lakes Dexter Creamery. Rose Marie Belforti is the cheese maker, there, and also the town clerk in Ledyard, NY. At that post, she refused to issue a marriage license to a same-sex couple. Osterink reported that fact, and within hours, Grazin' website said they, "no longer [will] be offering blue cheese from Finger Lakes Dexter Creamery." Read the full story in The Gossips of Rivertown.
