Vaccination rates above 50 percent in Albany, Ulster counties

In two local counties, over half the adult populations have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state's vaccine tracker page.. In Albany County, the vaccination rate reached 51.5 percent April 25, and in Ulster County the rate was 50.9 percent. In Columbia County, 47.2 percent of adults have received at least one shot. The numbers were 46.3 percent in Dutchess County, 46.2 percent in Rensselaer County, and 42 percent in Greene County. Schoharie and Delaware counties continue to trail, with 37.1 percent and 36 percent, respectively.
