The National Weather Service predicts Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 81. Wednesday night there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m., with a low around 63. Thursday showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Many computer models for Hurricane Irene continue to forecast an impact on New York Sunday and Monday.
