Old Chatham Quaker Meeting will present a talk by Takaaki Morikawa, an Atomic Bomb survivor, and will also screen “Hiroshima, A Mother’s Prayer." Mr. Morikawa will explain what he saw when he was hospitalized at six years old with a major illness, when the bomb exploded 5.4 miles away. Mr. Morikawa was soon engulfed in radioactive black rain to be followed by the hospital being overrun by horribly mutilated victims of the bombing He will also discuss what he sees as the path toward world peace.
