Albany Airport adds nine flights
Feb 16, 2011 10:35 pm
Eric Anderson in the Albany Times-Union reports airlines are adding nine flights to Albany Airport, though no new locations are being added. Cleveland, Chicago, and Detroit each add an additional flight per day, Baltimore adds two, and Boston adds four. Cape Air, United, and US Airways Express are among the carriers involved. The story also says U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer claims he's trying to convince JetBlue to fly to the airport. "I would like nothing more than to see JetBlue come to Albany," he said Wednesday in the Times-Union. "I have tried to convince them many times, and I mention it to them every chance I get."
