Hunter adopts junkyard, mobile home moratoria

Jim Planck is reporting in The Daily Mail the Hunter Town Board Tues., Feb. 18, took action to suspend the creation or expansion of junkyards and mobile home parks for a period of nine months. During that time the town will review and update its existing zoning laws. Hunter Town Supervisor Daryl Legg promised a thorough review of the laws governing junkyards and mobile home parks. He said the review will be completed in the allotted time and he does not anticipate the moratoria will be extended. Read the full story at The Daily Mail.
