Trump supporters block traffic in NY metro area

MidHudson News is reporting caravans of Trump supporters traveled across the region Sun., Nov. 1. Many of the vehicles had flags supporting Trump's reelection while others had red, white and blue American flags and others had shades of blue. At one point, a large caravan stopped in the middle of the Mario Cuomo Tappan Zee Bridge that links Rockland and Westchester counties, shutting down lanes on the bridge as participants got out of their vehicles, waiving Trump flags. Democrat state Senator David Carlucci of Nanuet call the bridge rally, “aggressive, dangerous, and reckless behavior...” Carlucci said, “The New York State Police should be working to identify these individuals and charging them. We all have the right to show support for a presidential candidate, but we do not have the right to endanger others and break the law.” The Associated Press reported anti-Trump protesters clashed with police in Manhattan Sunday, leading to 11 arrests. And a pro-Trump vehicle caravan slowed traffic to a standstill on the Garden State Parkway near Lakewood, New Jersey. Read more at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
