TerraSmart moving offices to Bethlehem

Larry Rulison reports in the Albany Times Union that TerraSmart will make its new Albany County facility its East Coast operations hub, closing facilities from Pennsylvania and Massachusetts for the New York location. TerraSmart will lease 30 acres and an 8,100-square-foot building on River Road near the I-87 Exit 22 for the facility with 40 to 60 employees. The Town of Bethlehem Planning Board reviewed the proposal for the first time Dec. 5. "We'll run the company's Northeast region out of this facility," Randy Smith, a field operations manager for the company, told the town planning board. "It's a big move for us. It's a more concentrated location for us." The company says it will open the office in January, but has to be approved by the planning board first. Larry Rulison reports in the Albany Times Union
