Design the next WGXC 90.7-FM tee-shirt! See your art on the tee-shirts of your friends, neighbors, and fellow WGXC listeners! No experience necessary, and all ages are welcome to enter. From June 1st through the 30th, send your entries to Jess [at] wgxc [dot] org. Read on for full contest guidelines.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? Competition is open to everyone, all ages. You don't have to be a WGXC programmer, volunteer, donor, or even listener to submit a design.

WHAT IS ON THE TEE SHIRT? "WGXC 90.7-FM" must appear on the shirt as such for the design to be considered eligible. Illustrations can be whimsical, but any text beyond "WGXC 90.7-FM" must be approved by WGXC tee-shirt judge panel. Eligible designs must be one-sided, though design can be intended for the front or back of the tee-shirt. The judging panel has final authority of what is / isn't eligible for teeshirt, but will advise participants if design needs revision within reason.

COLORS. Eligible entries will be a one or two-color design.

FILE TYPE, ETC.High-resolution images in .eps format are preferred. We will also accept vector art entries in the following formats: .ai, .cdr, .pdf, .svg, .wmf. All fonts must be converted to curves. There should be no embedded bitmap images (jpg, tif, bmp).

On a first-come-first-serve basis, designs which can be translated into a high resolution image by WGXC staff / volunteers may be eligible. Eligibility will be determined with regards to the capacity of staff and volunteers to turn the design into a high-resolution image, suitable for printing. Staff and / or design volunteers will communicate with entrants in order to obtain approval of the translation of their design, before voting is

JUDGING. All entries will be reviewed by WGXC's Official Tee-Shirt Contest Panel, from July 1st - 7th. The final three entries will be put to the general public to vote from July 8th - 15th. The tee-shirt that receives the most votes from the public will be produced! WGXC staff and design volunteers will work with the winning entrant to assure satisfactory translation of the design.
