Hosted by Mike Porter and Andy Reid.
Our guest this month is Matthew Patane. Matt grew up in the Poughkeepsie area and moved to NYC in his early 20s to pursue a career in acting, returning home a few years later when his mother was diagnosed with cancer. During that time, he joined the Castaway Players and began performing with them. Matt also toured the country with his best friend, Frank McGinnis, a musician from Dutchess County. When Matt’s mother passed away, he moved back to New York City in order to continue performing; however, he became disillusioned with the theater industry, and returned home again in order to figure out the next chapter of his life. He currently works at the Crafted Kup in Poughkeepsie and is deliberating a potential return to school in the fall. On each show, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them to their Catskill Cabin get-away. As Mike and Andy discuss their chosen items, it is intended that you, the listener, will enjoy getting to know each guest that little bit better.
