Lee Ann Brown has authored several volumes of poetry, including Polyverse and The Sleep That Changed Everything. She is also the founder of Tender Buttons Press, dedicated to publishing experimental women's poetry; she also teaches at St. John’s University.

Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
