Welcome to the March edition of our monthly Itinerant Mind programs with Morrad+McArthur. Annie Morrad is based in the UK and Ian McArthur lives in Sydney, Australia. Every month Itinerant Mind presents a mix of live telematic improvisations between the UK and Australia alongside material we have developed through the email and skype conversations that direct our collaborative sound art practice.

This month’s broadcast marks one year of Itinerant Mind on Wave Farm and we’ve seen it as an opportunity to preview new compositions we are working on for our second CD release later this year and to look back at a few memorable moments on the show in the past year. So we’ve compiled just five pieces - two completely new and as yet untitled compositions; ‘Wonder \’, our favourite track from our first CD; and two pieces that perhaps represent the scope of what we’ve played on Itinerant Mind this past year. One, a soundscape drawn from our work in Beijing last October with sound artist Xie Wenting, and to close this month’s broadcast, an older work titled ‘Umwelten’. This is from the August 2016 show where we experienced some connection issues during the live broadcast. The composition features here uninterrupted.
