Ariel Zangla reports in the Daily Freeman former Greene County Legislator Keith Valentine was appointed Wed., Jan. 16, to the board of directors of the county’s Industrial Development Agency. Another former legislator, Karen Deyo, was appointed to a four-year term on the county's Quantum Fund Committee. Both Valentine and Deyo are from Catskill. Valentine served nine years as a legislator, but chose not to seek re-election last year. Deyo was a member of the county Legislature for 18 years. She was defeated in a bid for re-election in November. The Quantum Fund is an economic development loan program. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
