Paul Demo is reporting at Politico [dot] com the Trump administration has pulled the plug on all outreach and advertising in the crucial final days of the enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act, according to sources at Health and Human Services and on Capitol Hill. Even ads already placed and paid for have been cancelled, according to Politico. Individuals are still able to sign up for Obamacare plans until Tue., Jan. 31, but the Trump administration is no longer advertising that fact . The administration has ended all media outreach intended to generate signups in the days leading up to the deadline. Emails are no longer going out to individuals who visited HealthCare [dot] gov to encourage them to finish signing up. Those emails had proven highly successful in getting people to complete the enrollment process before the deadline. This is especially true for younger and healthier customers. In New York, promotional spots continue to run on-air and in print, promoting the state's January 31 enrollment deadline at NY State of Health [dot] NY {dot} gov.
