Bliss Towers suspends pet policy, hires security guard
Jan 08, 2020 12:47 am
Jeanette Wolfberg reports for the Columbia Paper that Hudson Housing Authority Board of Commissioners voted Dec. 11 to suspend requirements and fees for keeping pets at Bliss Towers, and to hire a part-time security guard at the nine-story Hudson apartment building. Residents explained to commissioners how some were charged for pets, or not allowed to have pets, while others did not face similar pet restrictions. The board did not yet set hours or duties for the new part-time security guard. Outgoing Hudson Mayor Rick Rector also picked housing activist Rebecca Wolff for the Bliss Board of Commissioners, while new mayor Kamal Johnson will fill the Board’s two remaining open seats.
