Jordan has been Marchione's legislative director for the last six years and Gladd has had a two-year fellowship in the state Senate with the late Republican Sen. Tom Libous, and three years as a deputy director of policy for Gov. Andrew Cuomo. He also served in the Armyfirst lieutenant and ground-combat platoon leader in Afghanistan. Jordan says, "Anything that begins to infringe on our Second Amendment rights I'm not in favor of. You start chipping and chipping away until then there is nothing." That includes the governor's "Red Flag" bill, which would let a court to determine if certain individuals were too dangerous to possess a firearm. Gladd said, "When I think about guns, though, I'm not thinking about the Second Amendment. I'm thinking about gun safety." Read the full story in the Albany Times Union.
