The Supreme Court's two most conservative judges, Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, did not dissent in the new ruling, but in a statement attached to the brief order, they said that the decision is not "expressing any view on the merits of the case" and the challengers "should not be deterred." The New York law banned guns at “sensitive locations” such as healthcare facilities, churches, parks, entertainment venues and other places where people gather. Read more about this story at NBC News.
