Laura Nahmias is reporting at Capital New York lawmakers in both houses of the Legislature adjourned late Wed., Jun. 24, more than 24 hours after Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and legislative leaders announced a framework on a half-dozen or more outstanding issues. Lawmakers are scheduled to return to the Capitol today (Thu., Jun. 25), but their departure Wednesday, indicated the leadership is not close to a final deal and that no legislation will be printed before midnight.
