Composer Karen Mantler and longtime friend and WGXC programmer Sam Sebren will be in the studio. Sebren and Mantler, along with David Middleton and Paul Johnson, formed the experimental no-genre band Splotch in New York City from 1993 to 1999. Mantler has a new record, "Business Is Bad" on XtraWATT/ECM, with her trio featuring clarinetist Doug Wieselman and bassist Kato Hideki.
