The Drug Enforcement Administration's fifth annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 29. The day is an opportunity for those with accumulated unwanted or unused prescription drugs to safely dispose of those medications. There are collection points regionwide, including the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, at 85 Industrial Tract in Hudson, and the Greene County Sheriff's Department, located at 80 Bridge Street in Catskill.
