Kinderhook applying for charging station

Emilia Teasdale reports in The Columbia Paper that Kinderhook passed a resolution April 2 to apply for a grant to put an electric vehicle charging station at the town's Martin H. Glynn Municipal Building. Chatham and Ghent have already received similar grants and are currently working to put charging stations at either end of the Village of Chatham. Kinderhook Supervisor Pat Grattan reported that Columbia County has over 70 electric vehicles with the most in his town. Kinderhook's town board meets next at 7 p.m. May 7.
