Spotty Dog Books & Ale & WGXC 90.7-FM join forces on Sunday, March 11th for a benefit concert to fund the purchase of equipment that will enable the Spotty Dog to live broadcast and archive its various cultural events. An eclectic line-up of local talent will perform in support of the radio station and unlikely local venue. Performing will be Buke and Gase, Sticklips, and Jeremy Kelly. The Spotty Dog will be one of the first local venues with the ability to broadcast its events in real-time to WGXC's listeners.
Buke & Gase: Arone Dyer and Aron Sanchez form the indie rock duo Buke & Gase, and employ one-of-a-kind hybrid instruments, beautiful melodies, and serious chops to mount a uniquely captivating and seriously heavy indie pop barrage.

Jeremy Kelly: Hudson's maestro of sonic terror and WGXC programmer will share something from his endless arsenal of blasted sound. Scorched earth psychedelia.

Sticklips:Sticklips is the experimental folk project of Hudson-based songwriter Johanna Warren, whose haunting melodies and exquisite finger-picking are shrouded in a forest of eclectic sounds by Jim Bertini (drums), Chris St. Hillaire (electric guitar) and Eli Walker (bass). Sticklips cultivates a diverse garden of musical influences, from indie rock to acid pop to Nigerian High Life, resulting in a listening experience that is "at once ear-bendingly strange and singably familiar" (The Busy Signal).
