Re-edited in 2008 for the exhibition BYOTV, METRONOMA: Lovecraft's dream... was taped at free103point9 Wave Farm during 31 Down's 2006 AIRtime Residency as the video element for the theatrical production METRONOMA. METRONOMA is a haunted sound portrait of evil and isolation. Evoking the solace of a long walk with H.P. Lovecraft in a bitter New England forest of the 1930's. The simple ticking of a tube-powered metronome conjures unearthly visions as insanity takes hold of the world of an aging writer.
