Ashland adds skating rink
Jan 12, 2017 12:08 am
Daniel Zuckerman reports in The Windham Journal that the Ashland Town Park now has an ice skating rink. Volunteers with the Ashland Park helped with the 38-foot-wide and 96-foot long rink that has no fee, but also no skate rentals. The town is now planning to install lights for night skating. Eventually, the committee wants to add a dog park, portable toilets, and a pavilion to the park, volunteer Helen Zinn-Crisalli said. In the spring, the skating rink will revert to a basketball court when the ice melts. Read the full story in The Windham Journal.
