Daniel Zuckerman reports in The Windham Journal that the Ashland Town Park now has an ice skating rink. Volunteers with the Ashland Park helped with the 38-foot-wide and 96-foot long rink that has no fee, but also no skate rentals. The town is now planning to install lights for night skating. Eventually, the committee wants to add a dog park, portable toilets, and a pavilion to the park, volunteer Helen Zinn-Crisalli said.
