The changes are part of an effort to put reporters deeper into the communities they cover and to get more users on the company's news app as well as on cable. “Today, Spectrum Networks announced a series of operational changes that will enable its news networks in upstate New York to expand on their ... local news programming by adding more community-based stories — while expanding ... statewide coverage...,” spokesperson Maureen Huff said in a prepared statement.
