Allegiant coming to Albany airport with Florida flights

Andrew H. Roiter at the Albany Business Review reports that the Albany airport has added another carrier, Allegiant. The Las Vegas-based airline begins service to and from Albany to Fort Meyers, Orlando, and St. Petersburg, Florida three times a week. The Albany airport has added nonstop flights to Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Denver, and Orlando in the past year through other carriers. Last week New York State announced a new ramp from I-87 will be built for the airport, with 1,000 new parking spaces also added. The flyover exit ramp will bypass the intersection of Wolf and Albany Shaker roads directly to the airport. Read the full story in the Albany Business Review.
