Greenville cable extensions discussed

Jan 29, 2015 12:03 am
The Greenville Pioneer reports that town officials will meet with Mid-Hudson Cable officials this week about when town residents can expect promised extensions of cable lines. Last year, the company completed coverage of Red Mill Road, and has promised phase two on Cedar Lane. "Verizon will not replace the lines out there because they think everyone should go wireless," said Greenville Supervisor Paul Macko, explaining the need for cable service. "But the ironic thing is that there isn't cell service out there either." In all, Mid-Hudson Cable is supposed to add 11 miles of service in Greenville.
