An invitation to local artists and people working in the arts to discuss their work, cultural events and happenings, and the growing arts community throughout the Hudson Valley. Justin Nobel writes about science and the environment for magazines and literary journals such as Rolling Stone, Popular Mechanics, Virginia Quarterly Review and Oxford American. He writes a science column for Longreads.com, and is presently at work on a book featuring a series of journeys through different environmental problems facing America.

Karen LeBlanc, aka MissKarret, is a textile artist, musician, and clothing designer. Her background is in illustration, animation and decorative painting. She hand-prints fabrics with her own designs and creates unusual one-of-a-kind garments for her new storefront studio at 723 Columbia Street in Hudson.
