The Greenville Pioneer reports that on Sept. 7 Greenville Republicans backed a slate of incumbents for re-election. Supervisor Paul Macko, councilpersons Richard Bear and Ken Stern, clerk/tax collector Jackie Park, and highway superintendent Terry Williams were all picked for another term at the caucus. Eric Pickett challenged Williams, but lost 66-34. No other candidate was opposed.
