Rick Karlin reports in the Times Union that American Airlines will begin flying daily non-stop flights from Albany to Dallas-Ft.Worth October 5. Philip Calderone, CEO of the Albany County Airport Authority, noted the flights will be to the second busiest airport in the world and America’s largest hub, saying, “The Dallas-Fort Worth flights will open a new opportunity for our travelers to quickly connect to over 150 new and exciting destinations.” The flights will leave Albany at 6:11 a.m. and arrive in Dallas-Fort Worth at 9:06 a.m., and leave from Dallas-Fort Worth to Albany at 7:15 p,m, and arrive at 11:40 p.m. Read more about this story in the Times Union.
