Albany pols busy with fundraisers too

Mar 18, 2019 12:05 am
On March 15 the New York Public Interest Research Group released a list of 125 campaign fundraisers held in Albany during the 2019 legislative session. Only a few were held by local representatives, perhaps a testament to how little sway legislators elected from these parts hold in Albany. On March 11, Sen. James Seward held a fundraiser at Fort Orange Club, and charged a $750 admission fee. On March 18, Sen. Sue Serino held a fundraiser at the Fort Orange Club with a $350 ticket price. And on March 27, Sen. George Amedore held an event at 677 Prime in Albany, charging donors a $300 admission price. All three State Senators are Republicans.
