Emilia Teasdale is reporting for The Columbia Paper the Ichabod Crane school board heard an update on the district's $27 million capital improvement project earlier this month. Representatives from CSArch, the project designer and Turner Construction attended the board's Feb. 5 meeting and provided the report. Anker said his firm will be working on project designs through the end of August. Once finalized, those plans must be approved by the state Education Department, which could take up to six months. Anker told the board his company was well aware of the potential delays, but assured them there are ways to work around the SED bottleneck. Read the full story in The Columbia Paper.
