Bill Mahoney at Politico reports that Gov. Andrew Cuomo has worked around campaign donation limits, with a dozen contributors donating $3.1 million in donations since 2015. That is more than $2.5 million, the combined total that has been raised by Cuomo's opponents Marc Molinaro and Cynthia Nixon. Most of those contributors also donated to Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul and/or the New York State Democratic Committee, so Cuomo has much more campaign money amassed than his rivals on his right and his left.
