This week radio artist Karen Werner, musicians Marcia Bassett and Thomas Dimuzio, and radio artists Scanner and Yvette Janine Jackson are featured. Werner's "The Archive of Future Signals" is a radio play inspired by some of the works I included in the Wave Farm Radio Art Archive, in particular the radio plays. It is about the abandoned FM spectrum in Norway, and also about the politics of archives, with help from Maia Urstad and William Kudahl. Also included is Marcia Bassett and Thomas Dimuzio's "Portent Signal Remapping" that includes shortwave sounds, from their 2021 album "Losing Circles." And Scanner's "Shuffle Shimmer," from his 2021 album "Trawl," is also included. Finally, tune in composer and sound installation artist Yvette Janine Jackson's radio opera "Destination Freedom" from her 2021 album "Freedom."
