Lauren Stanforth, Steve Hughes, and Mike Goodwin report in the Times Union that while there is not yet another major outbreak of COVID-19 in the upper Hudson Valley, there are a few disturbing recent reports. Three Warren County residents flying into the Albany airport from Florida tested positive and two of them failed to follow the state quarantine order. In Albany County two restaurants closed after six employees tested positive. Over the weekend five more restaurant employees tested positive from two establishments that were already forced to close. And the state Liquor Authority suspended the licenses for Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon and Liberty Ridge Farms in Schaghticoke after very large Fourth of July celebrations at the venues exceeded state limits. And in Rensselaer County, the Town of Nassau reported the second new coronavirus case in two days, and three overall. Nassau Town Supervisor David Fleming said he was concerned in a Facebook video.
