The Daily Freeman reports that, one year after there were large women's marches around the country, on Jan. 20 there will again be many marches, including in Hudson, Woodstock, and Albany. In Hudson, there will be a rally at 1 p.m. in the Public Square at Warren Street and 7th Street, followed by a march down Warren Street. Speakers at the Hudson event include Assemblyperson Didi Barrett, Greenport town Supervisor Kathy Leck Eldridge; and many others. The Albany march is also from 1-3 p.m., at West Capitol Park.
