Anthem-kneeling reaches local high school

Spectrum News reports reports that several high school players on the Niskayuna football team kneeled during the national anthem before a Sept. 28 game. The news service talked to one father of a player who kneeled who said the coaches allowed the kneeling. Last year then-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the anthem to protest police brutality. Last weekend President Trump went on a Twitter tirade about other players taking a knee in protest, which led to further protest. Read the full story at Spectrum News.
