The storms last week left almost two feet of snow on the mountains, and arctic temperatures this week mean the three area ski centers can make a lot more. Plus, light snow showers are predicted all this weekend. Windham Mountain has 21 groomed and 47 total trails open with six lifts over 16" to 42" of snow until 8 p.m. each evening. Hunter Mountain has specials for college students this week, with 43 trails and six lifts open over 12-52" of snow. Catamount Ski in Hillsdale has 21 of 33 trails, and five of six lifts open with 10-20" of snow.
