Some municipalities enforce Halloween curfews
Oct 31, 2019 12:07 am
The Daily Freeman reports that the weather may keep some home from trick-or-treating this Halloween, but the law also may stop the hauntings. Many municipalities have curfews for Halloween. In the village of Catskill, it is 9 p.m. Oct. 31 to 6 a.m. Nov. 1 for ages 17 and under unless accompanied by parent, legal guardian, or other person over 21 and approved by a parent. In the town and village of Saugerties the curfew is 8 p.m. for ages 17 and under. The city of Kingston is 8 p.m. for ages 16 and under. But there are no curfews in Woodstock, Hyde Park, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, or Tivoli. Read more about this story in the Daily Freeman.
