Anthony Fiducia reports for Columbia-Greene Media that some neighbors are opposing "big improvements" to Greenville's Stewart's Shop. At a Dec. 6 public hearing before the planning board one neighbor wanted a tree buffer to block light and the store, and another complained about noise from people hanging outside the store after hours. The store is adding food services, additional seating in the dining area, and a beer cave. It would reduce the fuel pumps from four to three under the plan. The owner of The Westerner down the street wanted more parking spots added.
